Community voices at the table of a top nursing school.

The University of Michigan School of Nursing is one of the top nursing schools in the country. Its advisory boards bring in community voices to shape how the school's health work reaches real people.

The one I serve on is the Community Advisory Board for Young Men's Health, run jointly by the School of Nursing and Detroit Community Health Connection. I have held that seat since 2024. The work centers on Black men's health.
